Heather is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 23 years of healthcare experience. She founded Shaw Medical Aesthetics in 2023 because she has a passion for helping patients feel and look their best through evidence-based, personalized care. With a strong clinical foundation in complex medical care, including chronic medical conditions, wound management, and caring for patients across diverse settings, Heather blends modern medical knowledge with a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to wellness, longevity, and aesthetic medicine. She strives to help patients prevent development of chronic conditions by identifying and tackling underlying factors early. Heather is a native of South Carolina and values quality time with her family. She enjoys relaxing at Edisto Beach, traveling, reading, and being as physically active and healthy as she can be!
